Conquer the Chaos! Get Organized for the Holidays!

Hey there!

Without cold snaps to signal the holiday season, how do people in warmer climates ever know when to get ready for the holidays? Here in the Midwest, while the crisp autumn air might be whispering holiday tunes, Mother Nature seems to have hit the snooze button. We're enjoying a balmy 65 degrees and sunny skies – a delightful surprise!

But let's not let this warmth fool us. The holidays will arrive, and with them comes the usual flurry of activity. To avoid the last-minute scramble, let's get organized now.

Here's your pre-holiday checklist for a stress-free season:

  • Declutter & Deep Clean: Breathe new life into your space! Donate unused items and give your home a thorough cleaning.
  • Wardrobe Refresh: Pack away summer clothes and pull out your cozy fall & winter essentials.
  • Holiday Decor Roundup: Gather your festive decorations - wreaths, garlands, ornaments, lights, and tablecloths. Maybe you need a refresh?
  • Crafting Corner: Dust off those crafting supplies! Stock up on paper, glue, markers, and glitter to create personalized cards, ornaments, and DIY gifts (share your creations with us!).
  • Plan Your Feasts & Fun: Create a master list of delicious recipes and get a head start on grocery shopping and gift-hunting.

By tackling these steps now, you'll welcome the holidays with open arms and have more time to enjoy the magic of the season.
